Liquid Light
Liquid Light is an installation created in the light lab at Cornell University. The light lab is on the fourth floor of Martha Rensselaer Hall, built in 1933. This gorgeous Georgian building includes huge oculus windows, one of which was the inspiration behind the design. Projection mapping technology was used to create the illusion of light dripping out of the window and down the wall, and droplets of epoxy suspended on transparent fishing line created a veil around the space reminiscent of rain.
